Embracing Our Community
The KNS Media Group respects and values the many members of our community and their diverse perspectives. Diversity enhances our workforce and our community. Our focus on diversity is part of our core value of community, which states in part, “We reflect the community, its people, its culture, its diversity and its values.”
Since 2002, the News Sentinel's Diversity Council has been actively addressing issues of diversity, and we will continue to strive, setting higher standards as we seek to create a better newspaper, better workplace and better community.
Diversity Council
Mission
With respect to diversity of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, gender, ability, nationality and religion, the News Sentinel Diversity Council will examine and provide guidance on policies and programs, and approach the appropriate contacts to produce an even better product and strengthen relationships internally and externally.
