Sound description: Barrelhouse plays music steeped in the blues, rhythm & blues, funk, and Americana. The band is based in Knoxville, Tennessee and was founded by guitarist Ted Lowe. Although Barrelhouse is known for playing electric blues, it also plays eclectic and well-known R&B, funk, and roots and jam-band music suited for dancing or listening. The band is also adding original songs to its set lists.
