Rarely has a band come as far as Copper has in such a short time. Upon graduating from the University of Tennessee in 2004 they hit the road and realized something special was happening. They have played almost 300 shows since then, headlining & supporting bands like Shinedown, Seether, Crossfade, Breaking Benjamin, and 30 Seconds To Mars. Radio has been very good to Copper. The first single, By Now, from The Fragile Fall went to Active and Modern Rock radio and charted immediately, entering the Top 50 within 9 weeks. Turn was the second single, and was the number one requested song for 7 weeks running at WNFZ, as well as Top 5 most requested in a number of cities including Nashville and Lincoln, Nebraska. Turn also registered on Radio & Records Active Most Added chart for two straight weeks, and reached the Top 50 as well. The Fragile Fall was produced by Travis Wyrick, (P.O.D. and Pillar). In 2005 Copper was selected from 3000 participants as the winner of J. D'Addario/Guitar.com/FUSE Were Listening contest. As a result Copper appeared on FUSE Daily Download March 9th, 2006 and was the center piece of D'Addarios television and print campaign. Copper has recently released the first single "Broken Sky" onto itunes from the upcoming new album which is scheduled to drop Summer 08.
