Foe Certain’s tracks incorporate more instrumentation than your average local hip-hip, possibly as a result of the rappers’ diverse musical backgrounds. Emerson’s emergence into hip-hop was gradual. His musical career began as a vocalist for a hard rock act, followed by a stint in a rock/rap outfit, before totally immersing himself in full-fledged rap.
