Gamenight's music falls somewhere under the indie-rock umbrella, with vocals along the lines of those of Kind of Like Spitting. The group acknowledges that while this genre of sorts is seeing a lot of national interest, the style is not a current favorite within the local scene. But the band members acknowledge that given the scene's fickle (and somewhat outdated) tastes, that change could be made in Gamenight's favor at any moment.
