From her unmistakable accent to her songs' references to faith, family and the Appalachian landscape, Robin Ella Contreras could have only have come from East Tennessee. Robin and her husband, mandolinist Cruz Contreras, formed the core of RobinElla and the CCstringband (later shortened to just RobinElla). The group signed with Columbia Records and charmed audiences on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," "Mountain Stage" and on National Public Radio — all of which helped win the group a national following. "Come Back My Way" is taken from the act's recent album "Solace for the Lonely" on Dualtone Records.
