6:30-8 pm Knoxville Visitor Center
First Friday, July 3rd-Sarah Brobst & The Moonshine Cherrys - Sarah Brobst with display her recycled hubcap creations and The Moonshine Cherrys, one of Knoxville's premiere three-piece rock and roll bands, will provide great entertainment during the First Friday celebration from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Knoxville Visitor Center.

5-9 pm bliss home
"Doors and Windows" by Jarrod Justice, exhibiting colorful abstract paintings portraying life through the everyday symbols of doors and windows. Full of life and freedom, Jarrod opens an artistic dialogue with the viewer about truth, faith, and reality. On display for the month of July at Bliss Home on Market Square with a reception for the artist from 5-9 p.m. on July 3rd.

Marble Slab
"Seasons of East", a collection of photographs from Eastern Tennessee and the mountains of North Carolina, by Logan Burkhart will be on view at the Marble Slab on Market Square for the months of July and August, 2009. 6-10 pm Rita's Ice
Visit Rita's this Friday night at 26 Market Square during Downtown Knoxville's First Friday Festivities and help support the Living Christmas Tree Production being held at the Thompson-Boling Arena this December 19th, 20th, and 21st. Members of the cast and production crew will be our "Celebrity Scoopers" from 6-10 pm. Enjoy a cup of Italian Ice or Old-fashioned frozen custard and help support a great Christmas celebration that the entire Knoxville community will enjoy. 20% of the sales will be donated to Sevier Heights Baptist Church to go towards the cost of this amazing production. 5:30-8:30 pm Vagabondia
Vagabondia will be hosting visiting Arizona Jewelry Artist, Dean Keyes who creates hand-made necklaces, earrings and bracelets featuring unique pieces found during her various travels.

5-9 pm Yee Haw Industries
The studio will be closed during the day on July 3, but open for the First Friday festivities from 5-9 pm with many items on sale, plus debuting new 2010 calendars and more. Pick up a summer bird skirt in one of 10 colors.
