Lean on MC: Invisible Children benefit

This event is a charity concert to raise money for Invisible Children Inc.

The headlining band is The Dirty Guv'nahs. They are a rock band that has recently risen to prominence and are will be on tour supporting their second album (which was recorded at Woodstock). The other bands are fellow rock bands 1220 and Daniel and Kevin.
1220 is a band from Knoxville that has accumulated a following in the area. They perform high-energy rock that has received acclaim from Metro Pulse and Absolutepowerpop.blogspot.com. Their website is www.myspace.com/knoxvilles1220.

Daniel and Kevin is a rock band from the college that has a large internal following that will start off the show with powerful covers of famous songs.

Invisible Children Inc. is a charity that goes into war torn countries and finds orphans and gives them better lives through education. These children's parents have often been killed in the wars and the children will be abducted and forced to fight for the rebel armies. There will be food, drinks, concert t-shirts, and merchandise from the bands for sale at the show with proceeds going to Haitian relief efforts.
