Knoxville Magazine is here to enable and inspire you to work, play, eat, dress, connect and live better than ever in the community you love. We’re proud to give you a publication that makes it easier and more fun than ever to do so. Our team works hard to re-think the way we connect with you, because we know your life constantly demands that you re-think the way you connect with us.
The Look
Your new Knoxville Magazine aims to connect with you—the active and sophisticated Knoxville reader—through a fresh, open and easily accessible style. Readers will notice a stronger emphasis on photography, dramatic usage of negative space and a brighter, more inviting color palette.
The Content
A stylish look isn't the only thing that will make a debut in 2008, though. The entire editorial structure of the magazine has been reworked to give our Knoxville staff new and improved ways to connect with you. A redesign like this is about more than a logo and font. Those are key pieces, of course, but everything that goes into this overhaul is focused toward the larger goal of giving you the monthly publication you deserve. Knoxville is poised to see unprecedented growth in the coming years and we look forward to growing together with you. We've added new ways for you to interact with the magazine as well as organizational improvements to our monthly line-up.
A new front section, KnoxLife, is devoted to living life in Knoxville to the fullest. We continue to use fun approaches to the familiar style and home departments while bringing in new elements that connect you to your community and provide dozens of lifestyle ideas each month from Knoxville experts. In the back of the book, The Finale contains reviews, guides to fine dining, hot shopping and VIP events in Knoxville along with a column by prominent area writer, Jack Neely.
The magazine
We've got a chance to do something very exciting for the city with the new Knoxville Magazine. Combining the best elements of what this publication has been in the past and utilizing our growing number of resources, we will be able to have a monthly magazine that can capture the growing electricity of Knoxville for years to come.
It's more than a magazine. Knoxville Magazine an idea of what we are and what we can be as a city.
