Garnet Hill

New undertakings evoke the passion of new homeownership, and Saddlebrook Homes is further pushing the envelope with its newest Loudon County neighborhood – right down to the name.

Garnet Hill – named for a smoldering semi-precious stone – is currently under construction just past the Dixie Lee Junction. Brand-new homes from Saddlebrook’s Hearthside series of floor plans are in various building stages, which allows prospective homeowners a chance for more emotional impact as they customize their new living spaces.

Saddlebrook has had an in-house design center for three years, which has recently been upgraded exponentially, says Angie King, Saddlebrook’s vice president of home sales.

“We have all-new colors from which to choose, new flooring, new countertops, and even new light fixture packages,” she says. “We offer custom home designs and upgrades from the lower end of the financial spectrum, all the way to million-dollar-plus options.”

Heather Carter, Saddlebrook’s certified interior designer, works individually with each customer on their choices of entry doors, carpeting, appliances and just about every customizing option possible.

“The Design Center has been a huge hit – our customers love it,” says Saddlebrook President Bob Mohney.

Mohney says in addition to the many choices, homeowners are able to minimize travel, planning and time by having a one-stop shopping designation at the Center, located at Saddlebrook’s West Knoxville headquarters.

Garnet Hill is Saddlebrook’s third Loudon County development, following ongoing construction in Tennessee National and Sweetwater Creek.

“Loudon County sales have been very good to us,” says King, noting that “everything seems to be moving in that direction,” and Garnett Hill especially is “very centrally located.”

“It is close to Farragut, the interstate, schools and shopping.”

One- and two-level homes in Garnet Hill will offer 1,900 to 3,000 square feet in a price range beginning at $229,900. Many two-level homes feature master bedrooms on the main level, and growing families will be interested in plans offering up to four bedrooms, three baths and bonus rooms.

The cozy neighborhood has a single-entrance access for what will eventually be 40 homes on level and basement-ready lots.
