According to one report, the Luttrell native was bestowed keys to the Playboy club while he was in Las Vegas for the Academy of Country Music Awards. He reportedly visited the club a week ago, when two bunnies honored him with the key.

As a key holder, The Ches is now eligible for exclusive access and amenities at various Palms properties, including the Playboy Club; Moon, Rain, Ghostbar; the Palms Pool & Bungalows and the Pearl.

Another star who has keys: Paris Hilton.

Who needs a stinkin’ ACM award? The Ches can party whenever he wants. Ah, he is living the life of a true star.

n TMI. Did you catch Dolly Parton’s interview on “60 Minutes” last Sunday? She certainly related a weird story about her childhood in Sevier County that involved her, a pigpen and her desire to be one of the pigs.

As a very little girl, she so wanted to be part of the pigs that she went to the pen and decided to feed off the mama pig. Where she’d get that idea from? She watched the other piglets.

Even Morley Safer couldn’t believe the tale. But she swore it was true stuff.

In any event, it was too much information.

Hopefully she will not repeat the story while accepting her honorary degree from the University of Tennessee next month. (Though, to be honest, it would be hilarious if she did.)

n Film role. Knoxville native Rachel Woods, 13, is making her movie debut in “Hannah Montana — The Movie,” opening today. She plays Phoebe Granger in Disney movie filmed in the Nashville area, where she now lives.

She is featured in scenes with Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus, Vanessa Williams and Peter Gunn. Rachel attended the movie’s premiere in Los Angeles on April 2 and will attend a private screening in Nashville later this week.

This is Rachel’s first movie and the first time she auditioned for a movie. Her other credits include stage roles in the Nashville area.

Her East Tennessee relatives include grandparents Sam and Nancy O’Dell of Morristown, Tenn., and Charles and MayDell Woods of Kodak.

n Troubles. Current “American Idol” winner David Cook, who is scheduled to play the Square Room tonight, canceled two show dates last week because of “family matters.”

“We are canceling Monday and Tuesday’s shows to allow David time to deal with personal family matters,” an announcement posted on his official Web site read.

“Please respect his privacy at this time. David would like everyone to rest assured that we are working with the universities to reschedule the shows that are missed.”

No details were given. However, Cook’s brother, Adam, has been battling advanced brain cancer. An “American Idol” representative told People magazine that Cook spent time with Adam last week.

Fans supported Cook on his Web site, telling him to take as much time as he needs.
