Funny thing about “American Idol”: You can be a winner and still be a loser. David Cook won in 2008. He has been able to keep up a career, though he’s not exactly a chart topper right now. Meanwhile, we have Adam Lambert, who was runner-up in 2009. He’s still massively popular but has yet to make a huge dent in the charts. Who do you like best?

David: Ended up winning, though many thought his rival — David Archuleta — should have taken the crown.
Adam: Ended up losing, though many thought his rival — Kris Allen — deserved to be in second place.
COULD HE BEAT UP A NINJA?
David: Probably not. David is fairly laid back, and we think that would not work in his favor.
Adam: Yes, though we don’t know why we suspect he could.

Can't say I agree with your "beat up a ninja assessment. David is very athletic and even considered a career as a baseball pitcher at one point. He also has worked as a bar tender. Adam likes to play dress-up. Adam may "look" tough because of the black fingernails and leather, but that doesn't make him tough. He seems pretty tame to me anyway. That said, I do like Adam, though I'm not sure yet if I will like his music or not. I do know that I love David Cook's voice and all of his music from both before and after Idol.

But Adam Lambert for me are such a big star, because his voice are amazing, powerfull, softly, tender! He his really the best singer we never have in American Idol all seasons.
First he have the old package, he are so much cute and he dance, he are a facility to talk about anything. He have a great attitude, he always smile and laughing. His a guy who dont afraid to help the other Idols friend in all the week he stay on American Idol.

Adam Lambert have all the guy's want to have a beautiful presentation. No problem with his own body. The woman and teenage love him with no problem because his gay. We love him like he his and for who he his.
He gots a maturity, he have so much experience in the theater and for signing all the places.
We like to see him with is beautiful clothes because he have the talent to choice what is better for him. Why do not like that? His such a beautiful guy's and its fun to see a Rock God to have a facility to put the beautiful clothes on him and have such a charm.
Also he took like David a chance to take each song each week a change like his own and more to David made it because David just change the final on the songs. But Adam make more change on the songs. Like Saterday night fever disco week, he took that song disco ( If I can't Have You) and made a really good change on that to a ballad sentimental, ) we never never heard that before and his voice are so so softy and a same time so powerfull.
A guy like that, we never saw that before. Also he sing on YouTube this song with Noa Dori in duet ( Prayer ) and he such have a beautiful amazing voice in that duet..
Adam became a Icon like Elvis Presley, like Michael Jackson...Im sure of that and all his fan's to.
