KNOXVILLE — We compare two pop-culture subjects to see which you like better. To be included in next week's tally, vote for your favorite before noon on Monday. This week's match:

MARTHA STEWART vs. RACHAEL RAY

Here's the dish: Martha said in a 'Nightline' interview that, basically, Rach did not write a cookbook quite in Martha's league. In fact, Martha said the book was not quite 'good enough' to meet her standards and implied Rach is more of an entertainer than a bona fide cooking expert. Later, she apologized and got her foot out of her mouth. But still, we can pick sides, right?

THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID

Martha: (in reference to Rach's book): 'That's not good enough for me. I really want to write a book that is a unique and lasting thing, something that will really fulfill a need in someone's library.'

Rachael: (What she could have said in response): 'Wow! An ex-con AND a book critic? Martha, you CAN do it all!'

Martha: Cold, old and nasty behind the scenes, but she is somebody who could watch your back in a knife fight.

Rachael: Young, perky and hot — kind of like the girl you don't want to take home to mother because she'll say way too much.

Martha: "She's more of an entertainer ... with her bubbly personality, than she is a teacher, like me."

Rachael: (What she could have said): "Hey Martha, maybe I can teach you not be such a (Oh, no, she didn't just say that!)."

Martha: Martha went on Rach's show and explained herself and offered an apology.

Rachael: Unfortunately, Martha's apology came after Rach had already spray-painted dirty words on Martha's car. Oh well. Her bad.
