    SWINGIN' CHRISTMAS

    Trumpeter Sean Jones, left, will join the Knoxville Jazz Orchestra for a "Swingin' Christmas" at 8 p.m. at the Tennessee Theatre, 604 S. Gay St.

    Jones has released five albums with his own ensemble and has also performed with Wynton Marsalis' big band.

    'CHRISTMAS WONDERLAND'

    If you've driven along Interstate 40 past the Watt Road exit at night recently, you probably haven't been able to miss the "Christmas Wonderland" light show at Shadrack Watersports.

    'SHERLOCK HOLMES'

    Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) and his trusted assistant Dr. Watson (Jude Law) must pick up the trail of a villain they thought they had defeated in director Guy Ritchie's action-packed adaptation of "Sherlock Holmes."

    The cast of the PG-13 rated film also includes Rachel McAdams, Mark Strong and Eddie Marsan.

    Old flames catch again for formerly married pair Jane and Jack (Maryl Streep and Alec Baldwin, at right) in the new romantic comedy "It's Complicated." Jack is now married to a younger woman (Lake Bell) and Jane is smitten by an architect (Steve Martin), hence the title. The film is rated R.
