Top 10 Things to do in Fall

Here are just a few things that Knoxville has to offer in the fall:

1. Kidgits Fall Festival,

Story teller, crafts, games, prizes and face painting at West Town Mall. Free for Kidgits Club Members, (annual membership $5).

2. All aboard the Three Rivers Rambler

The Pumpkin Express Adults $22, Children $12.

3. Head of the Tennessee Regatta

Dawn to dusk with music, hot air balloons, food and rowing!

4. Movies on the Town

Free family-friendly movies. In 2008, these movies were shown at World's Fair Park and Market Square.

5. North Knoxville Street Fair & 3rd Annual Happy Hollerpalooza

A community event highlighting the businesses of North Knoxville (Central Avenue between W.Anderson Ave and Oklahoma Ave).

6. Scrap In A Year Club at Scrappin in the City

Join and preserve seasonal memories. 2008's fall Class was held Oct 16 ($25 club members)

7. Collect tasty fall recipes from the Knoxmoms.com Supper Club

8. Take a stroll through a nearby greenway

Collect leaves and treasures in a paper bag to create leaf rubbings or iron between two pieces of wax paper to for a nifty a sun-catcher.

9. Go Geocaching.

Collect some trinkets and treasures and go to www.geocaching.com to find clues and caches near you.

10. Find a local park with outdoor grills

Have a cook out with your playgroup families.
