CHATTANOOGA — Authorities have identified the man found dead on the grounds of the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, but they are still waiting on a cause of death.

Coffee County Sheriff Steve Graves told the Chattanooga Times Free Press that the man is 26-year-old Matthew Lands, of Fort Payne, Ala.

Graves said his family was notified early Thursday.

But Graves said preliminary autopsy reports from the Tennessee Medical Examiner’s office in Nashville did not determine a cause of death and there were no signs of any injuries.

The sheriff said results from toxicology tests could take weeks.

More details as they develop online and in Saturday’s News Sentinel.
