Johnny Knoxville interviews Popcorn Sutton

Johnny Knoxville posted a video interview with Popcorn Sutton in February in which they discussed, among other things, his pending jail time. The legendary Cocke County moonshiner expressed concerns over his health in a video interview shot in February 2009 by Johnny Knoxville and local filmmaker Storm Taylor.

Popcorn Sutton died Monday at the age of 62. He was facing jail time and officials are investigating to determine if suicide was a possibility.

Well, I can tell by the number of comments made any time Johnny Knoxville's name is mentioned that people could give a rat's behind less about him.

I don't think it's so much that they don't care about him. Maybe it's more of a "who's that" sort of scenario. Who really recognizes him anymore? I know I did, then the Jack@$$ movies came about... then kind of faded away. At least that's how it seemed to me.
