CBS has announced Academy of Country Music fans can vote for Entertainer of the Year this year - a method that Kenny Chesney said he didn't like last year, though he asked fans on his MySpace page to vote for him. D'oh!
The Ches is nominated for four awards: Entertainer of the Year, Top Male Vocalist and as an artist and producer for Vocal Event of the Year for "Down the Road" with Mac McAnally. If he is Entertainer of the Year again, it will be his fifth consecutive win, which will tie him with Alabama for the most consecutive wins in this category.
Voting will continue through the last hour of the live awards show by logging onto www.voteACM.com or www.cbs.com/acma. Fans also can log onto www.cbs.com/acma to access videos and photos featuring nominees.
