HOLLYWOOD!

The photography exhibit "Made in Hollywood: Photographs from the John Kobal Foundation" will be on display May 8-Sept. 9 at the Knoxville Museum of Art, 1050 World's Fair Park Drive. The featured photos show the stars, sets and scenes as memorialized by Hollywood photographers from 1920-1960. Photos include Clarence Sinclair Bull's 1939 shot, left, of Hedy Lamarr.

BLUEGILL'S BLUES BASH AFTER FIVE

The Alive After Five Spring series will conclude with "Bluegill's Blues Bash," featuring bands from Dallas, Nashville and Lexington from 5:30-10:30 p.m. at the Knoxville Museum of Art, 1050 World's Fair Park Drive.

Named after Alive After Five coordinator Michael Gill, the bash will include the Zac Harmon band from Dallas, the Miranda Louise Band from Nashville and the Stella Vees from Lexington.

Admission is $12 in general, $8 for museum members and college students with ID. Ages 17 and younger are admitted free.
