BLUEGILL'S BLUES BASH
The Alive After Five Spring series will conclude with "Bluegill's Blues Bash," featuring bands from Dallas, Nashville and Lexington from 5:30-10:30 p.m. at the Knoxville Museum of Art, 1050 World's Fair Park Drive.
Named after Alive After Five coordinator Michael Gill, the bash will include Zac Harmon, left, and band from Dallas, the Miranda Louise Band from Nashville and the Stella Vees from Lexington.
Admission is $12 in general, $8 for museum members and college students with ID. Ages 17 and younger are admitted free.

'FORBIDDEN KNOXVILLE'
Local events, personalities, politicians and more are fair game for satire in "Forbidden Knoxville," a local-color stage comedy presented at 8 p.m. at Theatre Knoxville Downtown, 319 N. Gay St.

COMEDY AND FANCY GUITAR PLAYING, TOGETHER AT LAST
Mike Rayburn bills himself as the "world's funniest guitar virtuoso." He will entertain in a benefit for the Joy of Music School at 7 p.m. at the Bijou Theatre, 803 S. Gay St.
Admission is $35 in general, or $100 for "premium" seating, which includes reserved seats and a post-show meet-and-greet with Rayburn. For information, call 865-656-4444.
A free recital will feature students of the school at 4 p.m. before the concert.

JARS OF CLAY
Contemporary Christian pop-rock band Jars of Clay will headline a concert at 7:30 p.m. at the Bijou Theatre, 803 S. Gay St.
The band is celebrating the release of its latest album, "The Long Fall back to Earth."

'URBAN EVOLUTION'
Photography by Tovah Greenwood, Ken Marine, Brad Loveday, William Isom, Jill Sanders, Megan Henley, Melissa Baker and David Fox is on display through May 31 at the 8 Shooters Studio, 1202 N. Central St.
The theme of the exhibit is urban farming, chronicling efforts by local folks to grow their own food.

'TERMINATOR: SALVATION'
While busy fulfilling his destiny of fighting the mean old Terminator robots, John Connor (Christian Bale) meets the mysterious Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington) in the new sci-fi action film "Terminator: Salvation." Wright's presence signals a twist in the future Connor has been expecting. Is it kill or cure? The film is rated PG-13.
"Terminator Salvation" opens with some midnight shows at area theaters on Wednesday, May 20.
BRET MICHAELS RETURNS TO ROCK US WITH LOVE
Lovelorn Poison frontman Bret Michaels, left, will park his 2009 "Rock of Love Bus Tour" in town at 7 p.m. at The Valarium, 940 Blackstock Ave., in this concert rescheduled from March.
Tickets previously purchased for the March 27 show will be honored. Opening acts will be The Crash Moderns and local rock band Thoroughfare.
Bret Michaels is famous as the voice behind Poison tunes like "Nothing But a Good Time" and the power-ballad favorite "Every Rose Has its Thorn." Most recently, he released "Rock My World," featuring songs from his VH-1 series "Rock Of Love."

'NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM'
Ben Stiller returns as Museum of Natural History night watchman Larry Daley in the sequel "Night at the Museum: Battle for the Smithsonian."
This time around, he joins forces with Amelia Earhart (Amy Adams) and other come-to-life historical figures to quell an uprising by other, villainous come-to-life historical figures.
The cast includes "Reno 911" stars Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant - who co-wrote the script - Owen Wilson, Steve Coogan, Robin Williams, Jonah Hill and more. The film is rated PG.
