FOOTHILLS CRAFT GUILD FAIR
The Foothills Craft Guild will present its 43rd annual Fine Craft Fair 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday-Saturday, Nov. 13-14; and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, at the Jacob Building in Chilhowee Park.
The show will include work by more than 140 Tennessee artists in woodwork, pottery, weaving, leatherwork, printmaking, stained glass and other media. There will also be hands-on craft activities for children.

'JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH'
The Children's Theatre of Knoxville will present Roald Dahl's "James and the Giant Peach" at 3 p.m. at the company's theater at 800 Tyson St.
James goes to live with his aunts, encounters a giant peach in their garden and embarks on a series of adventures inside the fruit as it rolls across the world.

Vermont-based indie-folk-rocker Anders Parker, below, and band will perform at 10 p.m. at Pilot Light, 106 E. Jackson Ave.
Parker's latest collection of electronica-tinged acoustic songs is "Skyscraper Crow."
Athens folk group Hope For a Golden Summer and Knoxville duo William & Jennifer will also perform. Admission is $5.

NATHANIEL SEER HANGS WITH THE SWINGTET
Indiana singer-songwriter Nathaniel Seer will join Knoxville's own Johnson Swingtet for a WDVX Blue Plate Special performance noon-1 p.m. at 301 S. Gay St.

'PLANET 51'
Astronaut Chuck Baker (voice of Dwayne Johnson) is in for a surprise when he lands on the far away world "Planet 51" in the new animated film of the same name ("Planet 51," that is, not "Chuck").
He thinks he's the first being to set foot on it, but he quickly learns that the planet is inhabited by little green people who see him as an alien invader.
The voice cast also includes Jessica Biel, Justin Long, Gary Oldman, Seann William Scott and John Cleese. The film is rated PG.
