'WILLY WONKA'
"Willy Wonka," a stage adaptation of Roald Dahl's fantasy classic "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," will be presented at 8 p.m. at the Oak Ridge Playhouse, 227 Broadway, Jackson Square, Oak Ridge.
The cast includes, from left, Bill Kilday as Grandpa Joe, George Fox as Willy Wonka and Maguire James as Charlie.

'A CHRISTMAS CAROL'
"A Christmas Carol" - the classic tale of Scrooge, Tiny Tim and the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future - will be performed at 8 p.m. at the Clarence Brown Theatre on the University of Tennessee campus.
Admission is $27 in general, $22 for seniors, $15 for area students and $5 for UT students.

CHRISTMAS ROCKETTES
The "Radio City Christmas Spectacular" will feature the world-famous Rockettes dance troupe, left, at 7 p.m. at the Thompson-Boling Arena on the University of Tennessee campus.
The stage set for the show features a 25-by-65-foot LED screen that will make the dancers feel at home with a backdrop of actual New York City scenes.

KNOXVILLE SYMPHONY LEAGUE CRYSTAL BALL
The Knoxville Symphony League's 2009 Crystal Ball will be at 6 p.m. at the Knoxville Marriott, 500 E. Hill Ave.
Entertainment will include music by Soul Solution, members of the Youth Orchestra, the Pellissippi State Community College Chorus and pianist Slade Trammell.
The party is a benefit for the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra. Cost is $175 per person.
