Though she’s off the dance floor for this season, “Dancing With The Stars” pro Julianne Hough is keeping busy with her music career. She’s appearing Oct. 22 at Cotton Eyed Joe.
Hough’s debut CD debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s country music albums chart in 2008. She is also the sister of current “Dancing” pro Derek Hough.
If only Hough had gotten here a few weeks earlier, she could have seen the Tennessee Valley Fair show with her beau, Chuck Wicks, performing.
At least Hough won’t have to travel far to do this Knoxville show. She’s now living in Nashville. Hough quit “Dancing with the Stars” — temporarily — so she can focus on her country music singing.
In an interview in 2008, Hough told me she has always considered herself more of a singer than a dancer. Now, the rest of the world has to catch up with that idea.

n ‘Lost’ and found. Apparently, not all of Johnny Knoxville’s tomfoolery was seen during his run on MTV’s “Jackass.”
The new DVD set “Jackass: The Lost Tapes,” arriving Oct. 13 and retailing for $22.99, packs 30 minutes of unseen footage, outtakes, extra stunts, behind-the-scenes antics and a montage of Knoxville’s well-known “Hi, I’m Johnny Knoxville.”
Other features include the show’s original opening and early work from the cast.
n A dog named Dolly. She’s had children named after her, and now Dolly Parton is the namesake for Heidi and Spencer Pratt’s new dog.
Spencer got the Maltipoo puppy for Heidi in honor of her 23rd birthday. The two have said they are fans of Parton, but haven’t said why they specifically thought of the East Tennessee star when naming the pup.
Last year, “Eastwick” star Rebecca Romjin named one of her twins “Dolly” after the singer. Romjin even met with Parton at Dollywood to ask for her blessing.
