Celebrity spotting is on the agenda for the next few days in Knoxville. Here's a look at who's coming and where you can see them:
Julianne Hough ("Dancing with the Stars"): The dancer and budding country star will be performing at the Cotton Eyed Joe tonight. Hough took off this season from "Dancing" to focus more on her country career.
While her first CD premiered at the top of the Billboard country charts, she hasn't had quite the musical impact that many fans expected.
Jason Mewes ("Jay and Silent Bob"): The actor will be in Pigeon Forge for the latest Adventure Con collectibles show on Saturday and Sunday. Mewes is best-known as the pot-smoking sidekick to Silent Bob in the Kevin Smith movies "Clerks," "Clerks 2" and "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back."
In fact, he's been in every Smith film except "Jersey Girl." Adventure Con is at the Grand Hotel convention center.
D.L. Hughley ("The Jay Leno Show"): The comic will perform at SideSplitters Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Hughley is dividing his time these days with a comedy tour, doing pre-taped pieces for "Jay Leno" and working on a new issues-oriented comedy series for CNN.
John Schneider ("Dukes of Hazzard," "Smallville"): He also will be in Pigeon Forge as a guest at Adventure Con collectibles show on Saturday and Sunday. Schneider has recently been a regular on the ABC Family series "The Secret Life of the American Teenager."
He has three movies in the works - including the Christian film "What Would Jesus Do?" He also has a new series in the works called "Crash Dummies."
Hank Williams Jr. will sing at a memorial service for Popcorn Sutton, the legendary East Tennessee moonshiner, on Saturday in Newport, Tenn.
The service is set for 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. According to a spokesperson for Williams, the singer and Sutton were friends, but whether Williams was one of Sutton's customers or not wasn't clear.
Sutton, 61, of Parrottsville, Tenn., took his own life before reporting to federal prison to serve an 18-month sentence for illegally brewing spirits and possessing a firearm as a felon.
