We compare two pop-culture subjects to see which you like better. To be included in next week’s tally, vote for your favorite before noon on Monday. This week’s match:

TOM CRUISE vs. BRONSON PINCHOT

Well, that’s one way to get your name back out there. After years of being just a dim memory, actor Bronson Pinchot is making headlines for his attack on Tom Cruise. Both starred in “Risky Business” back in the day, and Pinchot is saying Cruise was not such a nice guy then. Cruise is not sniping back at his former co-star. Because, like pizza, revenge is a dish best served cold.

BEST KNOWN FOR:

Cruise: Being generally odd, having kids, gettin’ married to babes and making hit movies like “Mission Impossible” and “Minority Report.”

Pinchot: Playing that creepy foreign guy, Balki, on ABC’s 1990s sitcom “Perfect Strangers.”

WHAT HE HATES MOST ABOUT TOM CRUISE

Cruise: That he can’t bottle sunshine and sell it for a smile.

Pinchot: “I found his willingness to be ungenerous, unkind, knowingly hurtful both mentally and physically to myself and the crew to be the saddest misuse of stardom I have ever experienced or hope to experience.”

WHEN REACHED FOR COMMENT

Cruise: “I thought Bronson was a place in Missouri where old people go to vacation.”

Pinchot: “I kinda didn’t mean what I said. Oops. My bad. Did I make the papers, though?”

HOW WILL THIS FEUD EFFECT THE FUTURE?

Cruise: He may be cursed with a life of making hit movies for years and years!

Pinchot: Now at work, he can say over the drive-thru speaker: “Hi. I’m that guy who attacked Tom Cruise over the way he acted nearly 25 years ago. May I take your order?”

LAST WEEK: JIGSAW (from “Saw VI”) vs. JASON (“Friday the 13th”)

Our pick: Jason. A guy in the hockey mask is always cool.

Your pick: Jason won with 75 percent of the votes.
