That Lane Kiffin is one sexy woman.
Wait ... You didn’t hear? The former UT football coach who bailed on us for the job at Southern Cal is up to win Esquire magazine’s “Sexiest Woman Alive” poll.
The magazine is running a tournament bracket, a la March Madness, with 64 “women” competing against each other. Lane Kiffin is the 16th seed in the Sports bracket, and his first-round draw was buxom golfer Natalie Gulbis. Readers vote for a winner in each “game,” and the voting has already closed for the first round. We don’t know who won, but we hear Kiffin was way in the lead.
If it doesn’t make sense to you, it doesn’t make sense to us either. All the contenders in the other three brackets (TV, Movies and Music & Fashion) are people we generally believe to be women, as are all the other contenders in the Sports bracket.
We thought maybe they meant his wife, Layla Kiffin — but no, they mean Lane.
Lady looks like a dude to us, but what do we know? Maybe he had a little surgery when he moved to California. Or maybe he was a really masculine woman (well, not that masculine) the whole time he was here.
By the way, East Tennessee native Megan Fox is the No. 1 seed under Movies (and we’ll die if she’s really a he). Wouldn’t it be cool if the championship for “Sexiest Woman Alive” comes down to Megan Fox vs. Lane Kiffin?
See the brackets for yourself at Esquire.com.

Esquire has been running this for 2 or 3 weeks now. This isn't really a new story for those that follow Vol football and the people that used to be part of the program.
