Hal Holbrook in "That Evening Sun"
"That Evening Sun," which was shot in the Knoxville area in 2008, will be released to DVD in September.
A release "event" will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 7 at the Clayton Center for the Arts on the Maryville College campus. There will be a screening of the film that night at the theater, followed by a question and answer session.
"Sun" was a critical hit in 2009 and 2010. Stars Mia Wasikowska and Raymond McKinnon earned Spirit Award nominations, the equal to Academy Awards for independent films, this year.
