Man files new claim that he's Eddy Arnold's son

NASHVILLE - A California man has filed new paperwork in Davidson County Probate Court here in an effort to prove his claim that he is the son of country music icon Eddy Arnold.

Christopher Edward Tanner's claims go back to June 2008, when he filed a paternity suit a month after Arnold's death.

In a new lawsuit filed last month, Tanner is asking Nashville's probate court to order Arnold's two children to submit to DNA testing. He claims that the test will prove that he is their half-brother and entitled to a portion of Arnold's estate.
