JACK vs. SAWYER ("Lost")

OK. It's time to settle this. "Lost" is airing its final season, and so far these two are at each other's throats. They say their fight is over individual philosophies about the island. We all know they're fighting over Kate. Let's stack them up and see who's really The Man!

BREAKING IT DOWN

Jack: He's the nice guy. Sure he's tormented, but he's a solid leader who cares about others.

Sawyer: He's a con man, self-absorbed and obsessed with revenge. He's also mean to people like Hurley.

WHAT DOES KATE SEE IN HIM?

Jack: She wants to be redeemed, and a nice guy like Jack is her ticket.

Sawyer: She sees herself as a very bad girl - and Sawyer reinforces that.

IT COMES DOWN TO THIS

Jack: He's Mr. Smarty, but he does cry an awful lot for a dude. (He cried almost as much as that guy on "The Bachelor.")

Sawyer: He's strong and looks like he's been to the gym a lot for a guy stuck on an island. We knew The Rush had a lot of locations, but come on!

WOMEN

Jack: He's like the front man - first, he had Kate then he had Juliet. Both left him eventually for Sawyer.

Sawyer: He's not exactly, uh, smart, but Kate and Juliet weren't looking for a library card when they asked him to take off his shirt.

LAST WEEK: Ellen Degeneres vs. Paula Abdul

Our pick: Paula. She makes us laugh (for all the wrong reasons).

Your pick: Paula won with 62 percent of the votes.
