Free technique classes and demonstrations will be presented at Williams-Sonoma, 7600 Kingston Pike.
They are:
-- July 11: The farm to table demonstration will show how to pair herbs such as basil, lemongrass, oregano and dill with fresh fruits and vegetables.
-- July 18: Summer sauces is the focus of this class, featuring recipes for chutneys, salsas and yogurt sauces.
-- July 25: The basics of preserving summer’s harvest will be the focus of this class, including how to make tomato sauce, easy pickled vegetables and fruit jams.
