East Tennessee's Best
Is there a restaurant you think should be recognized? Maybe a favorite bartender or hairstylist — or perhaps a local band?
Starting Monday on the Knoxville.com website, we'll be fielding your nominations for our upcoming East Tennessee's Best Readers Poll. The poll recognizes the best in our area's shopping, dining, entertainment and pastimes.
As we did in 2009, we'll first conduct a nominating phase for the poll, and readers can nominate potential winners in the 100 categories. So starting Monday morning and running through 11:59 p.m. Friday, July 23, you can make your nominations.
Phase two of the poll begins Friday, Aug. 6, when Knoxville.com site visitors can vote for their favorites from among all the nominations. Voting will continue until Friday, Aug. 20.
We'll publish the results on Friday, Oct. 15, in the Knoxville.com print section and online at the site.
All nominations and voting will be done exclusively online.
