I've said before that Bonnaroo is another planet. It actually goes beyond that.
Yes, many of its inhabitants look like aliens, but I've come to realize that there is this trend of posing as something else. It's amazing to see how many people dress up in 90 plus degree weather. Then again, I suppose that Bonnaroo is all about having a good time. It's the place to be whoever you want.
I've created a gallery of some of my favorites in the side bar. They include people posing as faeries, nuns and Native Americans.
I suppose cosplaying is a freedom that many of us corporate Americans can only experience here at Bonnaroo. It's a chance to break mundane behavior and embrace one's inner hipster.
If there's anything I've learned so far, it's that there is absolutely no shame in letting loose and showing your true colors.

Has no one from the local media ever been to Bonnaroo? This thing is in it's 9th year and people are surprised by this kind of behavior?
