NASHVILLE - Two deaths and hundreds of heat-related illnesses marred this weekend's Bonnaroo and CMA festivals.
Most concertgoers fared well among the daily 65,000 crowds at the CMA festival and the estimated 75,000 music lovers at Bonnaroo.
Sunday night, the death of a 29-year-old man at Bonnaroo was being blamed on the high temperatures. And on Friday, Fred Stapleton, 34, a security guard at the CMA Music Festival, was found dead inside a closed medical tent. No more details on either death were available Sunday evening.
