Dolly Parton will fill her schedule at the end of the month with talk show appearances to promote her new cable special.

The Sevier County native will be pumping "Dolly Celebrates 25 Years of Dollywood," airing July 3 on the Hallmark Channel. The special was shot almost a month ago at the Pigeon Forge theme park.

Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus and Kenny Rogers perform with her on the special.

To get the word out, Parton will start her day on "Good Morning America" (ABC) on June 29, where she'll sit for an interview and perform two songs.

Then, she is booked for a edition of "Access Hollywood" (syndicated) later that day and finished off her schedule with "Late Night with David Letterman" (CBS).

For Letterman, she'll chat and then perform a song.

On June 30, Parton will be a guest on "Live with Regis & Kelly" (9 a.m. WVLT, Channel 8).

n A shoot. Got an "Aha!" moment? Maybe you can be in a commercial.

Auditions for those "Aha" insurance commercials are set for today and Tuesday at 398 Union Ave. in Market Square.

The auditions are part of Mutual of Omaha insurance's search for people with real stories to feature in next year's national TV commercial spots.

The auditions are set for 11 a.m- 7 p.m. both days.

n 'Hit' in the making. Oak Ridge native Nicholas Lanier is starring in a new film "Hit Parade," set for release on DVD on July 13.

Lanier, whose character is named Speed Razor, is a graduate of Oak Ridge High School.

Nashville native Joe Casey is the writer/director, though he is better known as a comic book writer for Marvel.

"Hit Parade" is about a retired hit man living the straight life as a retail bookstore manager. He is coerced by government agents to hunt down a young contract killer.

The assignment suddenly makes Jerome face a life-altering choice about how he wants to live his life.
