“Southwestern Chic” (7 p.m., July 6) and “Pacific Northwest Spectacular” (7 p.m., July 20) are topics of July’s culinary classes to be offered by Avanti Savoia, 7610 Maynardville Pike. Class menus include black bean pate, salsa fresca, roasted chile and turkey enchiladas and vanilla bean flan for the July 6 class and shiitake mushroom tart, pan-seared salmon steaks, caramelized apples and ginger and raspberry creme brulee at the July 20 class.
