Actress Megan Fox participates in a press conference for the film 'Jennifer's Body' during the Toronto International Film Festival on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2009 in Toronto.
A rep for East Tennessee native Megan Fox has confirmed to People magazine that the actress married longtime boyfriend Brian Austin Green last week in Hawaii.
"Yes they are married," a rep for Fox says.
TMZ reported Monday night that the couple married at the Four Seasons resort on Hawaii's Big Island late last week. The site also notes that only a half-dozen people attended the ceremony.
Fox, 24, who grew up in Oak Ridge, has had a rough time recently with her movie career. In May it was announced that she would not reprise her role as Mikaela Banes for the upcoming "Transformers 3" (reports differ as to whether this was Fox's decision or the choice of producer Michael Bay). Then her latest film, "Jonah Hex," debuted on June 18 to a disastrous opening-weekend box-office take of about $5 million.
TMZ notes that Fox and Green, 36, met in 2004 on the set of the TV show "Hope & Faith."
The couple split in February 2009 after a two-year engagement, but they soon reconciled. A rep for Fox confirmed two weeks ago that the couple were again engaged.

Good. Hopefully her 15 minutes is up now and she can return to Rockwood.
She should only be seen and not heard from.
