Ashley Johnston of Knoxville was a winner in two ways on the latest installment of NBC's weight-loss reality show "The Biggest Loser." In a key moment of the game, Ashley scored a personal victory as well as a triumph for her team, by helping the group avoid an elimination round.
As the episode began, Cheryl and Darrell competed in an Olympic torch challenge to avoid instant elimination. Darrell dropped his torch after nearly 10 minutes, exiting the game.
Then, in the episode's "temptation challenge," after consuming 2,310 calories in search of a golden ticket, Michael won the ability to choose new teams: blue and black. Both Sherry Johnston, Knoxville, and daughter Ashley were sent to the black team (trainer Jillian Michaels' team), but team members were not happy with Michael's decisions. Both teams felt Michael manipulated the game in favor of the blue team, as they had more potential weight to lose.
"I'm very disappointed and very upset with Michael. He really stacked the deck," said Sherry.
But Michael's maneuvering became a rallying point for the black team. Said Ashley: "We want to prove this to Jillian and Michael that, yeah, we can do this." During the reward challenge, Ashley said, "We (black team) have more heart now because we have something to prove."
Unfortunately, the challenge did not go black team's way. After her team lost the challenge and thus was denied letters from home, a frustrated Sherry Johnston said, "you can see (the letters) and not be able to have them."
Despite the black team’s disheartening loss, however, the team members were highly motivated in the "last-chance workout," pushing themselves to the point that their trainer Jillian Michaels said to the team at the end of session, "That’s so perfect! ... Beautiful job."
Also on Tuesday’s episode, Ashley Johnston got some encouraging news from the show’s physician, Dr. Rob Huizenga. Earlier this season he reported that tests revealed the "inner age" of the 27-year-old’s body was 57. Retests showed the inner age of her body had improved to 49.
During the crucial weigh-in, the blue team (the assumed favorites to win) lost a combined 48 pounds.
As the black team was weighed, it seemed nearly impossible the crew could pull off a victory, and the final needed pounds came down to Ashley. Not only did Ashley secure the team's victory with a 10-pound weight loss for the week, she also achieved a personal best.
"I haven't been under 300 pounds in years," she beamed from the scales. Then later: "To save my team with 10 pounds; it's the best feeling here yet."
Things weren't so rosy for the blue team, who were forced to eliminate one of their own. After a narrow vote, Miggy got the boot and left the show.

onece upon ago i owed a dog that made poppers and peewee in a kiddy lidder box as a andsample of not giving up when i trained it for a cat.

Why does this show even pretend to be helping people?
If it did, it would automatically eliminate the persons who lost least weight every week.
Now, it's typical reality show trash except worse as it puts us 'freaks' (fat people) on parade (shirtless scale weigh-ins)
And the millions of brain dead, US Magazine reading, un-reality show watching Americans lap it up like milk.
Society is really going to h%##.

I think aslely is a real celbrity for doing her personnel best she can.
for a andsample she lost some pounds by cut down the sweet because maybe she got her tumy stapled up to win the edidose.
I beleve i could win the epidose by having a beautiful shape to my figure as a barbies doll who can open and close there eyes when you fipped it upside down.
i will always keep up aslely as my andsample for being fat, shes a hero.

i do my exrecises evrey day to keep so beautiful as a cherokkep woman of indian blood on her. i have a dark complex to my skin. plus my body is tonedup.
