— We compare two pop-culture subjects to see which you like better. To be included in next week's tally, vote for your favorite before noon on Monday. This week's match:

JAKE SULLY ("Avatar") vs. JACK DAWSON ("Titanic")

It's Oscar time - and this year "Avatar" is getting a lot of the buzz for best picture. James Cameron directed the sci-fi drama, which is one of the biggest box office hits of all time. Flashback to 1997, and another Cameron flick was getting big buzz - "Titanic," also huge at the box office. Let's look at both movies' heroes and see who's really a champion.

MODE OF TRANSPORTATION

Sully: Spaceship

Jack: Sinking ship

LOVE INTEREST

Sully: A warrior feline from the jungle

Jack: A rich chick who refuses to go down with the ship

BIGGEST WEAKNESS

Sully: He goes crazy for Fancy Feast.

Jack: Not the strongest swimmer.

WHAT HE LOOKS FOR IN A WOMAN

Sully: Someone who understands why he would double-cross her; also, she can't be a big dog lover.

Jack: Someone who might scoot over and give him some room on a floating piece of wood in the middle of the freezing ocean.

LAST WEEK: Sue Sylvester vs. Mr. Shuester

Our pick: Sue. She's just ruthless.

Your pick: You like Sue, too. She took the contest with 62 percent of the vote.
