Comedian, commentator Bill Maher will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 22, at the Tennessee Theatre. Maher has earned 21 Emmy nominations for his work on television. Maher hosted "Politically Incorrect" on Comedy Central for nine years and currently hosts "Real Time with Bill Maher" on HBO. Maher’s documentary "Religulous" has become the seventh highest grossing documentary of all time.
Tickets for Maher’s performance are $58 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 19, at Tickets Unlimited outlets and the Tennessee Theatre box office, by phone at 865-656-4444 and online at the theater's Web site.
