Competitive corn bread cook-offs, carnival rides, arts and craft vendors, agriculture displays and eating contests are a sample of what guests can enjoy at the 14th annual National Cornbread Festival.
The event, held in downtown South Pittsburg, Tenn., was recently named a top 20 event for the Southeast for April by the Southeast Tourism Society.
The 4-H Cornbread Cook-Off will be held at 9:30 a.m. April 24, followed by the National Cornbread Cook-Off scheduled for 1 p.m. On Sunday, April 25, there will be a Sequatchie Valley cook-off and auction scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
