Knoxville's Ashley Johnston weighs in during the March 23 episode of "The Biggest Loser."
In an emotionally charged episode for Knoxville's Ashley Johnston, the "Biggest Loser" contestant made it through another round of competition, but was forced to vote out her friend Stephanie.
Throughout Tuesday night's show, rumors swirled that Stephanie could have thrown the weigh-in on the week that Ashley's mother, Sherry Johnston, also of Knoxville, was voted off. The possiblility of this action upset Ashley, who ultimately confronted Stephanie with the accusations. A tearful Stephanie denied any game-playing to Ashley and Andrea, and later to the elimination panel, but in the end Stephanie was voted off the show.
As the episode began, Sherry Johnston made another appearance on the show, with the prospect of returning to the "Biggest Loser" ranch. All of the eliminated players were given a chance to weigh and plead their case on why they should return to the ranch.
Sherry, who had lost 62 pounds, said: "My journey started anew here. You make me feel young. I love you guys. Give me the chance to finish my journey with you."
Ultimately, it was Victoria, eliminated in week one, who was invited back to compete.
In another twist of the game, Sherry and other eliminated players were offered a chance to return ... if they could win a step challenge. The challenge involved taking 1,000 steps, and competition between Melissa, Miggy and Sherry was fierce as Sherry stayed in a strong third for much of the challenge (even ditching her shoes at one point).
But, much to some players' chagrin, Melissa won the challenge and returned to "The Biggest Loser."
