Actor Johnny Knoxville makes an appearance on MTV's Total Request Live in Times Square Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2006 in New York City.
Johnny Knoxville and his crew have officially started filming "Jackass 3-D" in West Chester, Pa., this week.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, few details of this latest movie are being released in an effort to keep set-crashers from interfering with production.
In an interview with "Jackass" regular Bam Margera's parents, April and Phil Margera, the Inquirer reports even they don't know what's coming.
"We don't sleep so well," April Margera told the newspaper.
Filming is being done on private property this week.
The movie has an October release date.
Will Knoxville bring his latest movie antics to Knoxville? If he is, no one is spilling the beans.
However, one source says Knoxville has recently asked about the names of any popular gay bars in the area, perhaps an indication he wants to film here. More than a year ago, Knoxville filmed a video commercial with drag queens at the Rainbow Club West in West Knoxville.
The first two "Jackass" movies were box office hits, bringing in more than $70 million each during their theatrical runs in the United States. Both of the first two films were made for less than $10 million each.
n Ratings. Buoyed by the support for former Knoxville resident Didi Benami, "American Idol" is having a strong audience this season. Apparently we aren't listening when the judges tell her how bad she is. (They're being too harsh.)
The Tuesday night performance installment was the most-watched primetime program of the night, drawing a 13.9 rating. It had almost double the audience of "Dancing with the Stars," which is enjoying one of its most popular seasons nationally to date.
Meanwhile, NBC's "Biggest Loser," which features Knoxville resident Ashley Johnston, came in third place in its time period on Tuesday.
The latest installment had a 6.8 rating.
