Coming back to Knoxville may have been the biggest challenge that Ashley Johnston faced on “The Biggest Loser.”
“There are a lot of distractions here at home,” she said on Tuesday night's episode. “My phone is constantly ringing. I’m constantly getting text messages.
“It’s all coming back to me, like, I’m desperately trying not to fall back into that. I have to figure out how to balance my life here.”
She did fall to temptation by staying out late with friends. The next day, she felt guilty and sick.
When trainer Jillian Michaels came to Knoxville for a visit in the episode, Johnston realized how far she has come.
“I was struggling in the beginning. I was freaking out,” Johnston told the cameras during a workout at Snap Fitness on Middlebrook Pike. Now when she works out, “I don’t feel that anymore.”
Johnston and the other three remaining contestants ran a marathon in the installment’s final challenge.
During the last weigh-in before next week's finale, Johnston lost another 18 pounds, putting her in the final three. At the weigh-in, she was 213 pounds and had a higher percentage weight loss than all of her competitors for the episode.
Johnston will go against Michael Ventrella and either Koli Palu or Daris George for the show’s $250,000 grand prize. Palu and George were the bottom two players this week and must face off in a fan vote to determine which player is in the finals with Johnston and Ventrella.
