The dates for the 2011 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival have been announced.

Bonnaroo 2011 will be held June 9-12, at the same site in Manchester, Tenn., where it was founded in 2002. A limited number of tickets for the festival will go on sale at noon on Nov. 26, 2010, at www.bonnaroo.com. The first block of pre-Christmas tickets will cost $232.60 (plus shipping charges). When that block has sold out the next block will be $247.60 (plus shipping charges). The sale will end at 11:59 p.m. Dec. 31. Higher priced tickets will go on sale in early 2011. Music artists performing at the festival will be announced in late January or early February, 2011.

Bonnaroo has become the largest and most successful music festival in the United States. Each year event brings between 70,000 to 90,000 to the 700-acre site in Coffee County.
