Grudge Match: Buffalo Stampede vs. Smashing into Handlebars

You don't have to go Out West to see the Great American Bison, also called a buffalo. This big bull weighs at least a ton. You might have noticed one like this on a nickle, but if you want to see them live, just go to Smithville, Tenn., in DeKalb County.

A BUFFALO STAMPEDE vs. SMASHING INTO HANDLEBARS

It's time for more tomfoolery with the release of "Jackass 3D," in which some of the action comes toward you. That got us to thinking. Which "Jackass" stunt would you prefer happen to you? Would you rather have buffalo stampede you or have a motorcycle handlebars come crashing into your delicate place? Johnny Knoxville took both like a man. You can do the same, man ... or woman.

ADVANTAGES

Buffalo: It's politically incorrect to wear buffalo skin. However, it's fine if a buffalo wears you.

Bikes: If the bike also had a basket and a small bell attached, you can tinkle without going to the bathroom.

DISADVANTAGES

Buffalo: Afterward, you just know those gossipy little buffalo queens are getting together over cards and laughing about you.

Bikes: The embedded handlebars may not be the color of the outfit you're wearing - and that would be embarrassing when you're dressing to impress.

AWKWARDNESS

Buffalo: The buffalo's weekly newsletter may list you under "Idiot of the Week" with a dumb photo and stupid caption.

Bikes: The handlebars haven't bought you a drink yet, but it's already taking up residence on your body.

THE FUTURE

Buffalo: Some day you may live next to a buffalo, and you'll have a funny story to share.

Bikes: Once you have had them pried off your body, it's hard to get those handlebars off your mind. You want to call them, but it's awkward. Maybe you should wait for them to call you.

LAST WEEK: Lindsay Lohan vs. Paris Hilton

Our pick: Lindsay Lohan. She at least recognizes she has a problem.

Your pick from knoxville.com/celebrities: Forget Paris: Lindsay got half of your votes.
