BEST SOUL FOOD: CHANDLER'S DELI

3101 Magnolia Ave.

We blew it. There we were, making up categories like Best Response to Yet Another Farmville Invitation (winner: gunshot to left femur) and Best Use of Glenn Beck's Tears (winner: poisoning rats), when we up and left out Best Soul Food. What a delicious category to forget, too.

Luckily our readers had our back, as well as a plate piled high with catfish, collard greens, black-eyed peas, macaroni and cheese, fried green tomatoes, and red beans and rice. Not to mention that succulent pulled pork "bonesucking" barbecue. This year marked the iconic East Knoxville restaurant's first decade of being East Tennessee's best place to get a good home-cooked meal.

Oh, and they serve Kool-Aid. Seriously.
