The program “Local Food: Critiquing Industrialized Food and Exploring Local Choices,” will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at McClung Museum Auditorium, 1327 Circle Park.
The panelists, who will discuss problems associated with industrialized food practices and obstacles met by local food movements, are Charlotte Tolley of the Market Square Farmer’s Market, Chad Hellwinckel of the University of Tennessee’s Agricultural Policy Analysis Center, Katie Ries of Urban Land Scouts, Ben Epperson of Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities, and Pam Uschuk of the University of Tennessee’s English Department.
