Two “American Idol” favorites are booked for East Tennessee shows next month.

Bo Bice, the season four runner-up, will be busy at two events. Bice will perform at The Grand Resort Hotel and Convention Center, May 13-14, in Pigeon Forge as well as The SuperTwang Country Music Festival in Campbell County, slated for May 15, and set at Mountain Creek Farm near Lake Norris.

Bice, 35, lost to a singer by the name of Carrie Underwood. Maybe you’ve heard of her. His signature tune is “Inside Your Heaven,” which rose to No. 2 on Billboard magazine’s Hot 100.

Also at the SuperTwang Festival is “Idol” finalist Bucky Covington, who placed eighth on the fifth season. Taylor Hicks ended up winning that season. Covington, whose hits include “A Different World,” sings May 13.
