KNOXVILLE - Because of the weather's impact, the University of Tennessee's annual Volapalooza: The Kickoff to Commencement set for Friday is moving from World's Fair Park downtown to the Rec Sports Intramural Fields on campus, according to the university.

Seniors are welcome to attend to Senior Hour at the Intramural Fields at 6:00 p.m. Friday.

Gates will open for other students and the general public at 7:00 p.m.

The event typically draws thousands. It's sponsored by the Central Program Council's Campus Entertainment Board and Cultural Attractions Committee and the Student Government Association.

Friday's concert will still take place at 7:45 p.m. tomorrow.

According to the university, the concert will feature performances by headliner Girl Talk, special guest Matt Costa, and opening act the Kingston Springs. General admission tickets are on sale in the Central Ticket Office in the University Center for $15. Tickets will be sold at the gate for $20.

More details as they develop online and in Friday's News Sentinel.
