Dolly Parton sells her furniture on eBay

Dolly Parton is putting up her furniture for sale on eBay. No, she doesn't need the money. She's doing it for charity. According to a release from the Dr. Robert F. Thomas Foundation, the country music superstar initially offered her king-sized bed up for bids on eBay, with the proceeds going to the foundation. Now she's decided to place the contents of her former Dollywood apartment's bedroom suite on the website, too.

Says the release: "the winning bidder can recreate the bedroom where Parton slept in her apartment at her Dollywood theme park." Since Dollywood opened in 1986, Parton kept a personal apartment upstairs above what is now Apple Jack's restaurant. After the close of Dollywood's 2010 season, the space was renovated and is now executive office space.

Photos are provided on eBay for additional detail.
